Lothar Wolf is Head of Digital Solutions and SAF Division at EUMETSAT and Programme Manager for Destination Earth initiatives. He has played a central role in developing the DestinE Data Lake, the infrastructure enabling access to large-scale Earth system and digital twin data across Europe. With extensive expertise in satellite data services, cloud federation and harmonised data access, he contributes to the operational backbone needed for next-generation climate digital twins. His experience in integrating distributed data infrastructures is highly relevant to TerraDT’s objectives around interoperability, scalable workflows and user access to high-resolution climate information.
