TerraDT took part in the WeatherGenerator Dissemination Workshop in Oslo (and online), organised by our sister project WeatherGenerator. The event brought together researchers, technical experts and stakeholders working on next-generation weather and climate modelling tools, with a focus on improving predictive capabilities and supporting climate-sensitive sectors.
As a sister project within the Destination Earth ecosystem, TerraDT participated to strengthen collaboration and ensure alignment across digital twin developments. While WeatherGenerator advances stochastic weather and climate prediction capabilities, TerraDT contributes digital twin components for the cryosphere, land surface and related interactions. Engaging in this workshop provided an opportunity to exchange progress updates, discuss interoperability and explore how complementary tools can enhance high-resolution modelling and impact services across Europe.
Our participation reflects TerraDT’s commitment to building a coherent and sustainable European digital twin landscape, where sister projects work together to maximise scientific excellence, technical compatibility and societal impact.
